Tips for selling your home Privately 

Selling your home privately can be rewarding both financially and empowering, there are some tips and tricks that will help out and some articles from around the web that will also help and give you some ideas. 

The 3 P's 

The most important bit of advice for selling privately are the 3 P's Price, price it correctly and on a Rightmove price bracket, never list a property not on a price bracket. Presentation, Ensure your home is market ready, never list with jobs not completed or need doing (if an agent tells you its fine, it's not and they just want the instruction). Promotion, Make sure the agent is on Rightmove and Zoopla, if they are not on both or not included in the fee that you are paying don't use them, your initial 6 weeks of marketing are the key to both selling and getting a good price.

Average number of viewings to sale = 10

Average number of enquiries to get to 10 Viewings =15 

Current price compared to asking price = 92%

Average time once sold to legally complete = 20 Weeks freehold 26 leasehold
